Holly History and Genealogy Center, 321 S. Main Street

Come visit us today!

Open year-round!
Wednesday and Thursday: 10 am to 2 pm
Friday: 10 am to 4 pm
2nd Saturdays of the Month: 11:30 am to 2 pm (excluding April and December)

*Please note that the Waupaca Area Genealogical Society staffs the building on Wednesdays and the second Saturday during the summer. This is a great time to stop in with any family history research questions!

The Holly Center can also open by special appointment at other times if arranged ahead of your visit. If you are traveling to Waupaca from out of town, we recommend that you call at least two weeks before your visit to set up an appointment.

Summer Hours : Open every weekend (Saturdays and Sundays) from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend (Saturdays and Sundays), 12-5 p.m.

Special open hours during Strawberry Fest/Father's Day weekend

Hutchinson House and King Cottage (in South Park, South Main Street)

Summer Hours: Open every weekend (Saturdays and Sundays) from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend (June, July, August), 1-4 p.m.

What's Happening at the Waupaca Historical Society


  • 2026: Holly Center now open until 4 pm on Fridays and the second Saturday of each month (excluding April and December) from 11:30 am to 2 pm!
  • Friday, February 6: Valentine's Dinner fundraiser at the Holly Center: Seatings at 5 and 7:30 pm, $100 per ticket for three-course meal. Tickets can be reserved in person or online by paying through Venmo, NetGiver or PayPal
