Passport to History

The "Passport to History" program was conceived not only to introduce visitors to the wealth of historical artifacts to be found in Waupaca County, but also to make the local citizenry aware of something they might have taken for granted over their lifetime.

Currently there are nine historical societies located throughout the county.  Of these, eight have either museums or historical buildings that are open to the public.  Listed are the names of the societies, along with their addresses.  We invite visitors to participate in this exciting program and to enjoy as many of these sites as time permits during your stay.

If you live in the area, make it a point to learn more about the heritage of your community and that of neighboring communities.  Stop by any of these location to pick up your "Passport to History" and begin your journey.
